A Great Spotted Woodpecker and possibly a Green Woodpecker were seen near Next in Halifax this morning.
Another very hot day in the garden mostly sky watching but nothing moving much.
Still a Red Kite eludes me.
3 Black Headed Gull, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull and 4 Swallow were kicking about this evening and a Little Owl called from near DJB's house at 20:20.
Swalesmoor:
I had a drive over to Swalesmoor late evening and enjoyed a sunny, picturesque walk along Hag Lane and back through the fields, hoping for A Red.. Anything.
A Buzzard was kind enough to fly past.
9 (2+6+1)House Martin.
A few Lesser Black-backed Gull and a few Swallow was about all.
