Hx Town, Sowerby Bridge, Kings Cross and Bradshaw Park

A very busy day today with Abi needing some new gear, a hair do plus a visit to her mum and some 'football' down Bradshaw Park.

I did manged to slope off for a look at Halifax Square Chapel during the clothes shopping and also a walk around Skircoat Moor was squeezed in during hair do!

Birds:-

c20 Goldfinch in the Halifax parish Church grounds with the usual Jackdaw but not much else.

2 Redwing were seen on a noticeably chilly Skircoat Moor.

Here, also, were c50Gulls, distant, that I was going to look at as I got to the top of the moor.

However, someone with money to burn, set off some fireworks from the  nearby housing, scattering the Gulls to the 4 winds - not to return.

Bradshaw Park had c25 Redwing in distant trees, so distant that I thought they were Starlings until I checked the photos this evening.

A 'flap-glide, flap-guide' silhouette was seen over houses as we came home from the park.
