Bradshaw - Ogden Circular Walk

A longer outing today 16:30 ish to 20:15 ish from home to Ogden Water then a look at the golf course. Home via Stod Fold area, Per Lane, Cowhill Gate Lane & Ingham Lane.

A lovely evenings walk if a tad too brezzy bird wise, with birds difficult to come by.

Not one bird sp. seen on Ogden Water when I arrived at the promenade.

Some Birds:

Kestrel, Little Owl, Stock Dove.

2 Swift, Swallow, 2 Great Crested Grebe.

1 Lesser Black-backed Gull on Ogden water soon left.

3 or 4 Lessers seen airborne being mobbed by Crows along the way.

Mallard with 3 slightly larger ducklings.

Heron, Linnet, Skylark, Pied Wagtail.

Meadow Pipit.

Top of the shop was a calling Reed Bunting on the golf course that I finally found a 'fair way' off - ho ho ho.

Mixenden Reservoir was way in the distance and all that I could see on it was one very large Gull which could just be a Great Black-backed Gull

For the Queens Jubilee I went to a fancy dress competition  dressed as Fidel Castro.

I came second.

Close - but no cigar.
