Christmas Day - Local Fields

A wet day today, dried up late afternoon with just enough time for a dry stroll up the local fields.

A tad windy but not bad really for this time of the year.

A few birds did come out to play, but , with the notable exception of Partridge, Turtle Dove, French Hen, Calling Birds, Geese and Swan for some unexplainable reason.

184 of these species will probably turn up over the next 6 days?

Birds:-

c10 Rook.

C80 Small Gulls (difficult to see, looking into the setting sun).

Little Owl.

Mistle Thrush.

A Heron was airborne over Parkingson Lane traffic lights this morning.

A 'very large' Gull was seen from Burdock Way roundabout.
