A few garden 'peeps' during the day but not a lot moving about.
Late afternoon we had a drive over to Swalesmoor and a walk around the Hag Lane circuit - a muddy, slippy affair.
The highlight of my day was getting the answer to the first 5 questions on Pop Master on Radio II correct.
I normally get just one right so a score of 21 today was a lifer.
All my questions related to songs / singers from the late 60's or 70's though.
Sounds good ?
But then I've been listening to it for nearly 25 years - so not so great!!
Birds:-
Garden:
A Green Woodpecker called loudly a couple of times from the Holdsworth area.
Mistle Thrush.
Other than that just the usual(?) Gulls over.
Hag Lane Area:
Stock Dove.
c90 Jackdaw, Rook and Carrion Crow flock.
C15 Common Gull in a muck spread field.
A Green Woodpecker was seen south of the Ski Slope in the small trees there.
