Brookfoot LNR - Again / Bradshaw Fields

Another morning visit to Brighouse to escape the worst of the wind and strong blustery stuff at Bradshaw - cold again.

Not a bad do with a least some bright intervals between the showers.

Still no decent photos of (I was going to say Blackcap) but anything today, really!

Mid-afternoon I had a wander up the local fields where it was cold wet and windy a lot of the time.

Birds:

Brookfoot LNR:

Swallow, Sand Martin and House Martin low over the ski lake picking insects off the water.

Looked to be more Swallow today than yesterday with probably 10+ birds,

Great Crested Grebe was an addition to yesterday - but it was way off to the south(?) (Looking left from the railings).

Oystercatcher called as it flew over the buildings near Avocet Works.

2 Buzzard (heard).

3 Black Headed and 4 Herring Gulls.

1 Blackcap, 1 Willow Warbler.

8 Heron.

Tufted Duck (possibly).

Little Grebe (heard and seen) on the lagoon.

Cormorant.

2 Song Thrush.

2 Mute Swan.

A Grey Wagtail that was caught in a picture of the hirundines.

Bradshaw Fields:

c25 Woodpigeon.

c10 Magpie.

2 Lesser Black-backed Gull over.

Top of the shop was a Wheatear , miles off at the bottom of the second horse field.

A couple of shaky video's:

Overdone the diet
