Raggalds - Garden & Ogden to Home

Abi with us today but I was left to my own devices for a lot of the day.

A dull cloudy morning, quite chilly as I walked up to check out the Raggalds

flood.

There is a good bit of water here - but not for long I guess.

Later I sat in the garden watching the sky with not a lot moving alas.

Blue & Gt Tit were very agitated flying about.

One bird went "smack!" into our outside window, fell to earth, but managed

to shoot off. Another went to look at the Blue Tit box while a third dropped

swiftly into the flower bed when the reason for the commotion became

apparent with a Male Sparrowhawk flew through the garden dived into

the flower bed and nabbed no 3 and off!

Sad to see really.

This afternoon I had a walk around Ogden Water , home via Syke Lane and Farm Tacks etc.
