Another day another bus ride this time the 502 to Cross Roads where we dashed into Wildes café for a coffee and bun before waiting for the, soon due, B3 bus to Hebden Bridge.
We had time, actually, for a 3 course meal with some roadworks right on the Cross Roads roundabout making a real mess of the bus timetable.
We did discover a new way to beat the long snaking car queue here, when one car came up the wrong side of the road overtaking all the waiting cars, making the approaching traffic move over out of the way, and ignoring the blaring horns to drive through the traffic lights on Red! as if!!
The walk from H.B. to S.B had the usual birds and we broke the walk with a coffee at the Blue Teapot at Mytholmroyd.
We called at Spoons for tea - home at 6pm in the dark.
An enjoyable trod.
