Bradshaw - Soil Hill (again)

On a visit to Tesco this morning I stopped to have a look at Raggalds Flood.

It was bouncing down and again there was lots of juice and again no birds.

After lunch I had the usual stroll , in reverse order - Taylor Lane, Soil Hill main paths, Ned Hill, Farm Tracks.

A dull partially drizzly outing where it was very, very windy on Soil Hill especially the SW corner.

An enjoyable outing with a few birds here and there but the wind stopped the job mostly on The Hill.

Birds:

Pied Wagtail.

8 Mallard.

2 Meadow Pipit.

9 Canada Geese.

2 Moorhen,

43 Woodpigeon.

1 Skylark (singing).

2 Buzzard.

Possible Raven mobbing one of the Buzzards.

2 Curlew (heard).

2 Mistle Thrush.

2 Herring Gull.

2 Lesser Black-backed Gull,

c12 Fieldfare, very active moving about and chattering in the farm track trees.

Probably checking if they have all got their passports ready for the big trip.

Nice to see Fieldfare - always look aggressive to me.

1 Brown Hare.
