I didn't get free 'till after tea today.
A nice sunny evening with a cool, fresh wind accompanying me over the backbone path of Soil Hill.
Good exercise but nothing to bother my tick list!

Birds:-
Usual fare.
6 Meadow Pipit, c10 Very Handsome, Lesser Black-backed Gull.
2 Curlew, 3 Pheasant. Pied Wagtail.
2 Whitethroat, Swallow.
Chaffinch, Greenfinch, Goldfinch.
Linnet.
2 Swallow almost hovering over the long grass in the wind on the west side of the hill.
The highlight was 9 Mistle Thrush over Bradshaw Lane - 3 + 3 + 3 in quick succession calling.
