Bradshaw Fields p.m.

The weather remains stubbornly cold, damp and murky with the promised temperature improvement on its way (coming by speedy tortoise?).

Getting a bit fed up with playing Cribbage to pass the time (especially when I loose 3 in a row - like today. Boo Hoo ).

I enjoyed the usual walk along the boggy fields to Ned Hill Road and back this afternoon - a misty affair.

However, the birding Gods were compassionate today sending me a few scarcities (for me anyway) along the way.

A fox eyed me from on high also.

Birds:-

Pair Stonechat (very mobile).

Green Woodpecker.

3 Stock Dove.

Little Owl.

5 Red Legged Partridge.

A few Herring Gulls.

(Horse fields bereft of Gulls today).

Not a bad do.
