On The Buses and Local Fields

Considering this was Easter Sunday we did exceedingly well.

The sun shone brightly after a cold start to the day.

Our buses clicked together like a Gibson's transport jigsaw puzzle.

We left home at 10:15 and got back at 16:00 ish a good day out,

The 502 Keighley bus took us to Cross Roads followed by the B3 to Hebden Bridge.

Lunch in Hebden Bridge took a new turn with a warm pie from the bakers, eaten sitting on a wall .... followed by an Ice Cream Cornet on the hoof from the small Ice Cream shop.

An enjoyable walk along the canal to Todmorden.

Coming back , a bus within 5 minutes from Tod to Halifax and the 521 to Illingworth was followed by a 20 minute walk home.

Local fields after tea was bright dry but coooool.
