I had an evening walk up to and over Soil Hill on a very, very warm evening, even with the refreshing breeze it was still warm.
A few birds were singing but Birds hard to come by in the heat and nothing new seen alas.
Nearest I got to a newbie was "pitch chew" (ish) call along the WNW path.
I could not locate the bird and it only called twice, or I only heard it twice due to the wind noise.
I went part way along the farm track before going right at east croft down to the road.
Some digging along / around Soil Hill Main Track was a bit puzzling?
