Bradshaw - Soil Hill - Evening Walk

I had an evening walk up to and over Soil Hill on a very, very warm evening, even with the refreshing breeze it was still warm.

A few birds were singing but Birds hard to come by in the heat and nothing new seen alas.

Nearest I got to a newbie was "pitch chew" (ish) call along the WNW path.

I could not locate the bird and it only called twice, or I only heard it twice due to the wind noise.

I went part way along the farm track before going right at east croft down to the road.

Some digging along / around Soil Hill Main Track was a bit puzzling?

Birds:

Garden:

Buzzard, Oystercatcher (heard).

Evening Walk:

Greenfinch, Blackbird, Kestrel.

Lots of mown fields, the one east of the mast track had c70 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.

1 Whitethroat (heard). 5 Meadow Pipit.

2 Linnet, 2 Chaffinch, Great Tit, Blue Tit.

Blackcap.

A Red Legged Partridge called and was spotted perched on a distant stone gate post.

Starling, House Sparrow.

Moorhen.

Jackdaw, Magpie, Carrion Crow.

2 Squirrel along the farm track.
