Calderdale Reservoir Run

I had a run about in the car recently too a few reservoirs.

The thing that stood out was the very, very strong wind.

I did get a few decent sightings but it was 3 plus hour struggle.

Birds:-

2 Common Sandpiper.

2 Pied Wagtail.

2 Moorhen

2 Meadow Pipit.

2 Cormorant.

5 Tufted Duck.

10 Mallard.

Oystercatcher.

Heron.

c30 Large Gulls included at least 3 Lesser Black-backed Gull - but too distant really to Id.

Pr. Great Crested grebe.

c20 Canada Geese.

2 Brown Hare.

8 Swallow over the house evening.
