A short garden sky watch this morning did not bring me any joy.
Just 2 calling Chiffchaffs in the nearby trees and the odd Gull was all I could manage!
This afternoon I had a run over to Ringstone Reservoir to eat my butties and have a butcher's hook.
A very sunny but deceptively cool day (especially 1st thing).
First look over the SW wall revealed 5 Whooper Swans, distant in the middle of the water...... they drifted over to the middle of the North side preening and sleeping.
This seemed an early return date for Calderdale Whoopers?
Not much else new here today.
