Bradshaw to Ogden and back - wet

13:30 - 14:00

I had my usual walk to Ogden and back this afternoon.
The weather was 'changeable' to be kind to it.
It was quite windy as I set off across Bradshaw fields and just after Crabtree Hall Farm a hail shower said "hail".
The weather was not too bad then for an hour but the return journey was a tad miserable with heavy rain showers throughout.
At least the rain made me 'brisk-up' my walking pace.
With the poor weather forecast I took just a small camera with me today.

I was sitting in a pub the other evening watching The Chase on TV.
A guy opposite me was also watching it.
He looked intent on getting hammered downing  pints of larger followed by Jager chasers.
He suddenly looked quite ill, the colour drained from his face - and when Bradley said "It's time to bring back the chaser" he ran to the toilet to do exactly that.

I know it's "144" if you can recall a 1968 maths lesson - but it's chucking it down outside.

(Some) Birds:

Little Owl.
2 Swallow. 2 Curlew. Kestrel, 5 Stock Dove.
c20 Large Gulls 50/50 Herring and Lesser Black-backed Gull on Ogden.
2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls in Bradshaw fields.
2 Chiffchaff. 2 Willow Warbler. Mistle Thrush.
Moorhen (maybe 2). Treecreeper. Goldcrest.
and a few others.
