Ringstone Reservoir

12:45 - 13:45

After a visit to Sowerby Bridge this morning I took the opportunity to have a quick shufti at Ringstone Reservoir, Nr. Barkisland.

It was very windy and quite dull as I walked  along the reservoir wall,  and the water level is very high now.

I did not find much here in the hour or so I was looking.

Birds:-

3 Pied Wagtail (2 doing some sort of amusing jig together, over the water,  in the very strong wind).
1 Cormorant,
8 Greylag Geese.
c45 Canada Geese.
6 Mallard.
Gulls strewn out along the north field.

c15 Mistle Thrush very flighty in a nearby field as I drove down the hill towards Ripponden.
