Bradshaw to Haworth walk

11:25 - 15:00

We decided to take a look at the Haworth Victorian Weekend today.
We had a really enjoyable hike over the moors going via Ogden, Oxenhope Reservoir, Leeming Reservoir and Oxenhope to Haworth.

It was a cold day, especially on the tops by Oxenhope Reservoir where a lazy ESE wind blew straight through you.

Not much time to stop and stare today but a few juicy morsels came our way.

Three Red Grouse were heard calling from the moors between Ogden and Oxenhope Res.

Leeming was brim full of small gulls, I've never seen so many gulls here.

A Kestrel was on a telegraph pole near the res.

A Grey Wagtail passed overhead near the Lamb Inn.

A Dipper was in the stream at the bottom of Jew Lane, Oxenhope.

Crossing the railway, via the road bridge at Belle Isle, Haworth we spotted a second Dipper in the stream and a Heron was there also.

Haworth was very busy and after a good look around we had a really enjoyable meal in Haworth Old Hall. This place was heaving as well.
