Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr Bradshaw

Late on parade today – 1530hrs.

Strong west north west wind - bitter (not the beer).

Strolled (quickly) up Bradshaw Lane – 6 Fieldfare in the field opposite the Bonnet.

Raggalds flood deserted.

A falcon type nearly took my head off at the bottom of Perseverance Road struggling in the wind (me and the falcon). Retraced my steps back to the trees where I thought it had taken refuge but could not see it. It later appeared hovering with difficulty next to the main road – a Kestrel - a bit disappointing but given the weather thankful for it’s appearance. 

Though about trekking Soil Hill but bottled it.

The sky turned black. Thought I’d take a photo until the camera reported “ Battery Exhausted”.

Scampered home just made it inside before the big hail / snow storm came.

Better luck next time.

Looking forward to Knaresborough in summer.
