Birkham Woods – River Nidd (Knaresborough).

It’s that time of the year when my static caravan at Knaresborough needs some TLC – but I managed an hour or two with the bins and the camera.

Wed.
Near the van Chiffchaff (heard but not seen).

GSW – looks like it will nest close to last years nest site.

Mistle Thrush. Canada Goose. F. Goosander. Grey Heron. Moorhen.

Thur.

Grey Wagtail. Moorhen. Dipper.
Nuthatch (sorting it’s spring abode)
LTT 4 – gathering nesting materials.
Male Pheasant. Male Bullfinch. 
Skylark - only one (they can’t compete with soil hill over here).
Pr Partridge (too flighty to say which).
Pr Common Buzzard gliding on the thermals.
Red Kite (common as Blue Tit here).

Lapwing. Chiffchaff. Greenfinch. Pr. Jay. House Sparrow.

    It got to 27 degrees in the van this aft!
