Bradshaw to Queensbury Play Gym via Scholes & Old Railway Line.

10:30 – 12.30 (ish).

Nothing too exciting happened on a short stroll on a lovely sunny morning.

Birds seen:-

Swallow 6: Goldfinch: Starling 12: Wren: Great Tit:
Green Woodpecker calling from Thornton area.
Linnet 3: Willow Warbler: Woodpigeon 2:
Pr. Jay: Blackcap & Chiffchaff singing.
Whitethroat.
Approaching Queensbury, near the top of  Station Road, a Common Buzzard soaring high in the clear blue sky.

(still no Stonechat for me yet).

    Nice Whitethroat pic, bird not listed.
    Missed the Buzzard which would have been visible from the garage.
