Woods full of bluebells.
Birds Seen: 4M 1F Blackcap.6 Willow Warbler. 6 Chiffchaff.
Buzzard. Whitethroat. Yellow Hammer. M/F Bullfinch. Song Thrush. Mistle Thrush.
Grey Heron. GSW seen drumming.
Dipper and a solitary BHG.

Morning - Knaresborough
– Goldsboro’ short walk.
River Nidd: Grey Heron. Dipper.
Lanes/Crop fields: Yellow Wagtail. Very nervy Whitethroat.
Linnet.
C30 Sand Martin looking for a nesting site in newly dug soil
where a farm track had been deepened – only 1 ½ Metres above ground?
C20 Swallow.
Afternoon: -
Birkham Woods.
Grey Wagtail. LTT. 3 GSW . Tree Creeper. The Tree Creeper
was silhouetted in front of a tree where a GSW was calling – though I’d got a
LSW ‘till I got the bins on it.
M Blackcap. Jay. BHG. Moorhen.
A really good haul there, especially the two yellow 'uns.
