St James’s Park Mother Shipton’s Beryl Burton Cycleway Gardener’s Arms Disused Railway Ripley

A FEW DAYS AWAY.

Tuesday 13th May 2014.

Sunny warm (managed to be undercover when the showers came).
A beautiful 10 mile walk today (Tues) from the Gardener’s Arms Inn to Ripley is a delight. Hedgerows either side of the old railway with birdsong throughout.
Some birds seen:-
Mistle Thrush. M/F Bullfinch. Chiffchaff. Willow Warbler. Blackcap. Swallow. Yellow Hammer. BHG.

Bus back to Harrogate & Knaresborough then a snack at the Half Moon on Abbey Road before walking home 10/10.

Must be OK to park on top of the wall then.
