Calderdale Way:- West Vale to Ripponden & Ogden.

The 9:30 am 539 Bradshaw to West Vale bus today and a few miles of the Calderdale Way followed by lunch at The Fleece at Ripponden Bank (good do).

Blowy but it kept dry amazingly. Although with the waterproof clobber on all morning, thinking that the inevitable downpour was coming, it was a bit of a slog.

Birds:-

Jay, Many a Swallow, GSW, M. Pheasant, Meadow Pipit, a couple of Goldfinch.

Bus to Halifax & bus to Bradshaw.

Ogden- 16:45 (ish).

Cormorant X 3, c100 BHG with a couple of Common.

Juv. GCG, Chiffchaff & Willow Warbler, 2 Grey Wagtail, and 4 tufted Duck and others

 Is it me or are birds becoming more difficult to find these last 6 weeks?
