Ogden

Ogden 19:00 – 20:00

After a full days shopping at Skipton, with friends, some non-retail therapy was in order.

Just time to pop up to Ogden.

After a circuit of the water and nearing ‘closing time’ nature called (must be all that Skipton tea) so I took advantage of the Ogden facility. Whilst in the loo I heard a noise outside and thought the prison warder was here to lock me in. So I did a quick fly out of the door to find a startled motorist unlocking her car... oops.

Birds:

Water very calm after today’s heavy downpours.
4 Swallow and 1 Goldfinch on the wires. An unusual small count of BHG c30 with 1 LBBG.

6 LTT

2 Curlew > NE and calling

2 Robins in full song.

Green Woodpecker calling but not seen.
GSW calling but not seen.
2 Collard Dove by the pub.
A good few (at least 6) Mistle Thrush feeding in the fields opp Causeway Foot Inn with c15 Starling.

The ubiquitous Juv GCG with and Adult GCG.
