Four to Ninety four

Father-in-Law and Granddaughter  (90 years difference in ages) to entertain separately today ,so no time for a hike.

Just a quick look around (no bins) Birdcage Lane area this morning.

An interesting area, with loads of oak trees, it’s worth another visit when more time is available.

Birds:-

Many Goldfinch in the trees with Blue & Great Tit.

A Great Spotted Woodpecker, 4 Jay , Woodpigeon , Wren and a few others was all that I could muster this a.m.

A Magpie carrying a twig?

6 Squirrel.

The Jays flew 10 yds in front of me for 15 mins or so – could I get a decent picture – no chance.
