A trip to Oxenhope this morning.

There were 18 Canadas showing in the fields when I
arrived, another 2 dropped in later and another 15 arrived later still. However,
when I looked back from the main gate, as I left ,there were actually c50 in
the fields.
C85 Lapwing were on the shore for a while before
leaving and a single Oystercatcher stood nearby – a very nice surprise. Looks like spring is nearly here.
Red Grouse were calling from the moor and there were
a few Pheasant about.
Also in the fields were 5 Greylag Geese & Cormorant on the shore with the usual small gull sp.
