Bradshaw to Queensbury

The usual walk to the play gym at Queensbury this morning.

A good gander about but nothing exciting about.

9:15 Raggalds Flood

The flood is looking very healthy with lots of water.
A pr. Lapwing, 2 Canada Goose, 2 Crow types, 2 Pied Wagtail and a Common Gull in the vicinity.

Old Guy Road.

A quick stroll up O.G.R. looking for Wheatear proved fruitless.
4 Fieldfare > N, a Kestrel, a couple of Meadow Pipits, and a Grey Wagtail was the best I could do.

11:00 Low Lane

A couple of Meadow Pipit, 2 Lapwing giving a crow type some grief, 4 Greenfinch, Goldfinch, Robin, House Sparrow, lots of Woodpigeon floating about.

11:20 Scholes

2 Greenfinch, Wren singing loudly, Goldfinch, Meadow  Pipit, 7 Magpie on a barn roof.
 11:40 Cycle Track

2 Jay, c20 Jackdaw, 2 Pied Wagtail, Greenfinch, 2 Dunnock singing loudly, 2 Pheasant, 3 Collared Dove and a deer.

Two young lads coming down the steep Station Road said "I hope I can walk up here like you when I get to your age!".

Don't know whether to take that as a compliment or an insult!

Better luck tomorrow I hope!!!

2 Woodpigeon & Collared Dove?
