Hollingworth Lake - Easter Sunday

 

We had a walk around the area away from the crowds:-

A trip out to Hollingworth Lake on Sunday to join the masses of people here.

On one section of the walk we were luck enough to see some Lapwing nesting near our path - we gave them as wide a berth as poss. so as not to disturb them - however the horses in the field seemed ever so close to the nest!

The exact location has not been disclosed intentionally.

 

 

Birds:-

Jay, Skylark, 2 Coot, Cormorant, Heron, 8 Teal, Moorhen, Redshank, Pheasant, Mute Swan, 2 LBBG, Canada Goose, Mallard and others.
