Evening Soil Hill Circular

18:25 - 20:30 [Sunday].

It took a long time for me to get out today so a late evening stroll was most welcome.

The sun came out but the wind remained strong for the most part.

The usual stuff was knocking about, a few Swallow and Linnet, loads of Skylark and Meadow Pipit, Woodpigeon, Pheasant.

The pick of the crop was at least 4 Whitethroat and pr. Grey Partridge.

There were 3 LBBG seen during my ramble all > W and coming home a Little Owl was calling and there was a Pied Wagtail on the pylon wires and a few other sp.

A report from a "Pigeon Man" who lives nr. the Raggalds of a Peregrine Falcon seen there last year - don't know if that's a new sp. for Raggalds flood – must watch the pigeon hut.
