Bradshaw - Soil Hill

18:45 – 20:15

A late visit to the hill this evening hoping for something tasty – with all the recent excitement I was hoping for Wheatear.

The nearest I came to one was when a bird landed far off on the wall west of the “great rock” . I could not ID it through the bins but the photo, once loaded onto the laptop revealed a Skylark.

A broken egg from a source that I do not know was the only unusual find.

Birds:-

Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Pheasant, Woodpigeon, Lapwing, Moorhen, Curlew, Kestrel, Oystercatcher.
