I would say the top one /the header ..was a definite Goshawk..but the cropped one face forward looks like a Sparrowhawk with orange wash ...just goes to show what a bit of cropping and colour enhancement can do...interesting
ReplyDeleteThe large gaps in the primaries drew my attention to the picture originally.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if the primaries vary between Goshawk and Sparrowhawk.
Either way it's kept us busy for an hour or so on a poor day!
