Round and About

With Abigail and Emma to entertain today there was not a lot of birding time.
I managed a quick stroll up Taylor Lane and along Perseverance Road to the Raggalds and back down Bradshaw Lane, home.
I bumped into B.S. on Perseverance and enjoyed a 5 min chat.

8 or so Long Tailed Tit were on the wires outside White Windows, Sowerby Bridge,

We did some scootering, swinging and sliding at Manor Heath Park where a secretive Song Thrush was high in a tree with 2 Mistle Thrush passing overhead. An orange coloured Ladybird was on a waste bin.

On the short walk, later, I though I'd got a Great Black-backed Gull, very distant , on the Bonnet fields seen from Perseverance Road. The photo, however, reveals a Lesser Black-backed Gull.

Link to a really funny joke:

Taylor Lane - rain clouds caught up with me nearing home
