Bradshaw - Soil Hill - Ogden - Bradshaw

10:00 - 13:15

It was crisp on t' lug 'oles this morning on Soil Hill.

It was a bit of a slog today with a cold west wind and birds extremely difficult to come by.

Soil Hill was a write off with just the odd Meadow Pipit and nowt else!

Ned Hill Track revealed a Blackbird, Wren and a few Dunnocks!

11:20 Ogden.

Ogden water was quiet with Small Gulls, Mallards and one Lesser Black-backed Gull.

A couple of the Black Headed Gull had rings on their legs.

Not sure if one was NK' s brilliant find, of a Lithuanian migrant.

I did catch up with a large flock of passerines on the west side:-

c40 Chaffinch, c10 Coal Tit, c10 Goldcrest, Blue and Great Tits which were all feeding together.

I spent a long time eyeballing the Chaffinch but I did not produce, my now Bogey bird, Brambling.

Also here I managed a poor picture of a fast moving Treecreeper.

Not a lot seen on the trek home.
