A bright morning (a lot of it spent at the dentist) gave way to dull stuff then drizzle.
Following B.S's blog yesterday I thought I 'd give Soil Hill a coat of looking at hoping for Snow Bunt.
It was a pleasant surprise to bump into Dave B at the bottom of Taylor Lane, and Larry at the top.
The Little Owl at the bottom of Taylor Lane, took some finding, but it was present on a field wall.
2 Stock Dove flew from the midden area.
There was no sign of the Grey Wag. today.
I dropped some Nyger Seed on the main track and caught up with Dave B. again.
We spent an hour or so on the hill, Dave managed a Reed Bunting but we both failed on the Snow Bunting.
The drizzle turned up so I headed home via Ned Hill Track.
The Little Owl was within a yard of the same place when I passed a second time.
Just another Mistle Thrush and the usual Gulls seen on the way home.
A bit dire today up on the hill mate, Ogden was the same apart from the wigeon.
