It was a poor afternoon's outing with fog and/or drizzle for the most part.
When the drizzle stopped, the fog thickened, until visibility across the water was down to 10 yds or so.
There were the usual small gulls in low numbers and the Mallard crew.
I tried to eek out a F. Teal out of the Mallards but failed.
The Kingfisher, that normally appears when the weather is bad , stayed away as well!
A very wet circuit of the water was rewarded with Dunnock, Blackbird, Great Tit and 7 or 8 Goldcrest.
At least it's fairly mild.
As I was leaving B.S. was arriving, hope you had better luck than I had Bri.
Snooker/pool with neighbour John tonight.
Honours shared last week - hope we can find the pub in the fog!
A rubbish picture of one of the Goldcrest.
The camera was struggling to recognise it in the poor light.
