√Ogden Gull Video from yesterday and Salterhebble to Sowerby Bridge - Tough going

12:20 - 14:30

An amble along the canal and a bit of the river Calder while Emma was having a hair doo.
A bit of a disappointing outing I'm afraid.

Very warm and Bbbbbreeezy.

Usual birds about:

Canada Geese, Mallard, Goldfinch - with a charming flock of c30 near the Copley Viaduct feeding on the Thistle heads.

5 Swift and a calling Bullfinch here, also.

The riverside saunter revealed a very secretive Jay, a very smart looking Cormorant and a juv. Moorhen.

A good scan of the river edges failed to produce any Waders.

The stretch to Sowerby Bridge from the new housing development opposite 'The Halifax' data centre had a few fidgety Long Tailed Tit.

The river by Sowerby Bridge, Bridge held a, soon to be,very clean Muscovy Duck.

And that was about it really.
