A much better day weather wise today and absolutely amazed that the snow has all gone!!
Mild and dry (this aft) but very windy on Soil Hill top.
I enjoyed a walk across the Moors to Back Lane, Ogden and then across Soil Hill - didn't have time for Ogden Water today alas.
I had a pleasant chat with DP who pulled up in his car as I went down Taylor Lane.
Birds:-
Lots of calling Curlew on the moors - well 4 or so anyway.
c25 Meadow Pipit seen in ones and twos throughout the walk.
Pr. Red Legged Partridge, flushed from Black Edge Lane,
3 Skylark, Possible Raven.
6 Herring Gull
Oxenhope Reservoir was very very distant.
Possible Great Black-backed Gull
3 Stock Dove
4 Red Grouse
2 Greylag Geese overhead at Ogden.
I don't get Greylag often at Ogden.
Soil Hill:
Curlew, Kestrel, Pheasant. 3 Stock Dove.
Oxenhope Reservoir (TMR)
Geese???
Mystery Bird Call!!
