We were fortunate with the weather.
Although it was cold it remained dry until, after a green train ride, and as we headed for the car, the hailstones came along.
The usual birds were here:
Mute Swan, Mallard, Coot, Moorhen - No Gulls.
Sue spotted a large Swan flying fast and very high NNE.
I managed a few very distant photos.
The very, very long neck was the obvious feature.
The photos have been cropped and lightened a bit but were too distant to get much colour into them.
Given the long thin neck I would plump for a Whooper, any comments would be appreciated.
Mallard
Possible Whooper Swan - original and cropped and lightened a bit.
