Leeming Reservoir Oxenhope - Tufted Duck bonanza

14:00 -  15:30

A cold, breezy day with the odd shower brought me to Leeming this afternoon.

Not a lot about.
The intake channel from the moors is running with water now, but the reservoir is still very, very low.

Birds:-

Bird of the day was Tufted Duck with 18 counted, the most I've ever seen together.
I'll have to give the photos a good looking at to see if there is a Scaup in there. (Bit early in the year for Scaup I would have thought, though).

2 Kestrel, Bullfinch calling.
A few Swallow, Heron.
5 Red Legged Partridge.

A few Black Headed Gull and Lesser Black Backed Gull.

A large, light coloured Gull, (probably a trick of the light) presumably a Lesser Blacked Backed Gull, but I could be mistaken.

Lots of Corvids, high, enjoying the breeze.
