Ogden in the rain

After Whitby, Ogden brought me back down to earth with a bang.

I took the car to Ogden and had an hour or so there.
Very heavy rain and a strong wind accompanied me around the circuit unfortunately.

I went home via Percy Road and Taylor Lane hoping some winter Thrushes might have been blown in, but not to be today.

I thought of looking for the Taylor Lane Little Owl but thought better of it when the wind tried to remove the car door.

Birds:-

I just did the one circuit of Ogden.

Usual crowd here.

Mallard, Black Headed Gull, Common Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull.

A Wigeon was a nice surprize, just discernible through the heavy rain.

Some grotty photos in the rain.

The Crossbill hunt was put on hold today!!
