Foreside Lane, Denholme

14:45 - 16:00 (ish).

A circular walk around the Foreside Lane area today proved very frustrating.
The strong 'breeze' (as Look North weather calls it) was blowing throughout.
Amazingly warm with it , with 19 degrees reported by my car's thermometer , on the way home.
Although it got black as night at one point only 2 specks of rain fell throughout.

Birds:

A real poor do today.
A steady stream of Gulls > S were heading for a distant field to the lee of high ground by the looks of it.

A Group of 80 Starling, Magpie, Woodpigeon, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Pheasant  and 3 Mallard (seen way off, below the shay near Soil Hill), was about it!

I have read my Stars for a change today :-

Jam,tax cuts, A Britexit breakthrough and a couple of lifers  are on the cards for me tomorrow!

The field at the start of the walk

The same field at the end of the walk
