Soil Hill

The usual walk up Taylor Lane, Ned Hill Track and Soil Hill this aft.
A beautiful HOT sunny afternoon, even hot on Soil Hill.

Birds:-
(They were sat sunning themselves elsewhere!!)

3 Little Owl (1 seen from Bradshaw Lane, 2 seen from Taylor Lane).
(A pleasing sight - I haven't seen them for a while)
A few Meadow Pipit.
A solitary large Gull seen from Ned Hill Track.
Gulls and Lapwing were very distant in the Shay fields, seen from Soil Hill top.

3 Kestrel
Pied Wagtail.

Possibly 4 Teal (by no means sure) with 3 Mallard on the very distant NK pond - seen from Soil Hill top.

A pretty Caterpillar.
