Ogden Area

11:00 - 14:30

A good few hours local birding today but not a lot about.

A walk up to the Giants Tooth, a circuit of the water and a nosy at Back Lane today.
I was hoping for Flycatcher but no joy.

A pleasant day, windy on the tops by the tooth.

Birds:

Hard to come by today.

3 Tufted Duck, 2 Heron, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, a few large Gulls over.
Mallard with 6 Duckling.
Curlew heard from back lane.
A few high pitched calls from the conifers on back lane, were probably Siskin, although I never eyeballed them.
Collard Dove.
Blackcap on the way to the tooth.
Green Woodpecker called from NE end.
Plus usual sp.

2 Swift, 4 Swallow seen from the garden later.

Back Lane Conifers
