Reservoir Run and a mystery passerine

A very dull calm day with a drop of rain.

Visits to Ponden, Lower Laithe, Leeshaw and Leeming reservoirs this aft.
I was hoping for a new Wader species but no joy.
No Cuckoo heard again today.

Ponden:

Very quite with 3 canoes on the drink.

Oystercatcher, Lapwing, Pr. Common Sandpiper, Pied Wagtail.
6 Large Gulls over - Herring Gull I think.

Lower Laithe:

Canada Goose, Oystercatcher.

Leeshaw:

Noisy with many lapwing having a go at owt that moved and Geese calling overhead.
I only saw one small Lapwing Chick though - must be lots more hidden in the grass and reeds.

Curlew,2 Common Sandpiper, Redshank, Oystercatcher, Canada Goose, Greylag Goose.
10 or so Black Headed Gull.

2 Black Headed Gulls. with very dark/blackish legs have me beat.
Not a Mediterranean Gull but does not fit Black Headed Gull.
The colours on the photo have not been changed.
I guess it must be a Black Headed Gull and a trick of the light?
Both Gulls were on the wall temporarily holding their wings away from their body slightly.
Earlier they had been very aggressive towards something on the shoreline (the something was out of sight).
Happy with Black Headed Gull - 20:50

A small bird perched on the reservoir wall - a long, long way off - well it would be wouldn't it?
I though Meadow Pipit at the time but the photo shows too much darker brown and Linnet does sit right either?
I then thought Reed Bunting but the posture and the bill is wrong.
The 'quality' of the photo, at the distance, was better than I thought I'd get, but not good enough.
See what you think.
(probably a Robin - after all that!)

A scrambler bike turned up and zoomed up and down the track, billowing dust everywhere so I beggared off.

Leeming:

Common Sandpiper, 2pr. Tufted Duck.
Grey Wagtail, Pied Wagtail.

A good few Willow Warblers remained will hidden.
