Ogden Area

Out and about for a good few hours today.
First a look at Ogden Golf Course Area then a circuit of the water before a stop at the visitors centre where I could get a coffee to have with my butties.

Then a drive along the road to Denholme Velvets and a walk back from there to Back Lane Ogden.

Birds:-

c40 Canada Geese, Mallard.
2 Reed Buntings, c30 Woodpigeon.
6 Jay, 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull.
1 Herring Gull, 5 Black Headed Gull.
Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler.
Song Thrush, Meadow Pipit.
Skylark, 1 Lapwing (No Curlew).
2 Snipe flushed from a footpath near the boggy field behind Denholme Velvets.
2 Kestrel - One looked like a young bird, struggling to balance on the wires.
4 Linnet.

3 Black Headed Gull relaxing in a field.
