Bradshaw - Ogden - Stod Fold - Brockholes - Bradshaw

A long outing on a beautiful, breezy, sunny day. 
Just right for a long birding walk.

Bradshaw Farms Fields.

Little Owl, Linnet, Pied Wagtail.

Ogden Water:

Great to bump into JS,DJS here.

Green Woodpecker, Buzzard, Great Crested Grebe.
7 Cormorant, 2 Curlew, Swallows.

c50 Gulls - 4 Common, 6 Lesser Black-backed, c40 Black Headed.

Ogden Golf Course.

c10 Linnet, Pheasant, Swallows, Woodpigeons.

Hunter Hill Area:

This is a beautiful walk from Ogden Golf Course across the fields.
I gave the area a really good looking at hoping for a 'special'.
Lovely views and countryside but few birds alas.

27 Canada Geese, Swallows, Pheasant.

Stod Fold / Brockholes.

Great Spotted Woodpecker called.
Pr. Pheasant arguing.
2 House Martin, Swallows.
Kestrel mobbed by a Swallow.

Bradshaw Farms Fields (Take 2).

3 Mistle Thrush, Green Woodpecker called.
Meadow Pipit, Starlings.

After and enjoyable 4 and a half hours out and about the Little Owl  was still sat on the same post as I passed it on the way back.

    Swift, Kestrel, 4 Mistle Thrush.
    Nothing really nocturnal.
