Ringstone, Baitings and Whitehome Reservoirs

A longish car journey (for me) today.
Gale force winds mostly and decidedly nasty on the walk along the Pennine Way from The White House Inn to Whiteholme Reservoir.

Things took a turn for the better though with my first Wheatear in a good while.

Ringstone:

Choppy Waters.
3 Tufted Duck, Pr. Great Crested Grebe, Pr. Pheasant.
4 Mallard.
c25 Gulls - 2 Lesser Black-backed, rest Black Headed.

Baitings:

Kestrel, Cormorant.

Whiteholme.

Nice to see a reservoir with some good shoreline showing.

4 very nervous Wheatear flitting about, mostly distant, but still a good reward for the journey.
