Sowerby Bridge to Mytholmroyd and back

Another scorching afternoon and a short walk along the canal.
Lots of shade on this section so it was quite pleasant.
A stop at the Barley Wine Inn for a shandy and then a walk back.

Birds:

Not much happening in the heat.

2 Nuthatch, Long Tailed Tit, Heron, Jay.
A Great Spotted Woodpecker flew overhead.

On the way to Sowerby Bridge I took a couple of opportune photos as we passed Dean Clough chimney in the car.
Cropping and lightening the pictures reveal a pr. Peregrine Falcon.
