Ogden Golf Course to Bradshaw

16:20 - 19:15

Sue dropped me at Rocks Lane, Ogden on her way to dropping Emma at Sowerby Bridge and Abi at Heckmondwike.
A vey hot and gruelling hike on a windless afternoon.

Not much about around Ogden Golf Course.
(I'll have to start following DJS around).

Ogden Golf Course Area:

A Weasel or Stoat disappeared into a wall.
It looked chocolate brown with a short darker tail - but it didn't hang about.

Heron in a field.
Pr. Kestrel, Stock Dove.

Ogden Water:

Great Crested Grebe, 1 Cormorant (9 reported here yesterday by a dog walker).
Lesser Black-backed and Black Headed Gull.
1 Canada Goose.

Ned Hill Track - Flighty Willow Warbler or Chiffchaff not sure but I did get a photo
2 Juv. Pheasant , I was about 2" off standing on one of them.

Taylor Lane - Sparrowhawk, Herring Gull.

Large Gulls moving high.

Bradshaw Lane - Willow Warbler.

A few Swallow and a few other sp.

Struggling to turn up any Migrants of note.
